A quarter hog raised in the Inland Northwest on non-GMO feed with no corn and no soy. About 50–55 lb hanging weight: a mix of chops, roasts, ribs, ground pork, bacon and ham. $5/lb hanging weight, butcher fees and standard curing included. $250 billed at gathering, any remainder due at delivery. Butcher dates every month.
The easiest way to start buying pork by the share.
A quarter hog fills a small freezer with chops, roasts, ribs, ground pork, bacon and ham, without committing to a whole or half.
No corn. No soy. Non-GMO.
Most pork is finished on corn and soy because it's cheap and puts weight on fast. Ours is raised on a non-GMO ration with no corn and no soy. The fat is firm and the meat has real color.
What you get
Price
$5 per pound of hanging weight. Butcher fees and standard curing included. No separate butcher bill.
How payment works
Example: your quarter hangs at 54 lb. 54 × $5 = $270. You paid $250 at gathering, so $20 is due at delivery.
How it works
You're buying a quarter of the hog. We arrange harvest and custom processing at a regional butcher on your behalf. Custom-processed pork is for your household use and is labeled that way.
Freezer space
Plan on about two cubic feet. Clear room in a chest or upright freezer before harvest.
